On this site, you will discover the two varieties of the Dutch Shepherd breed in its short and long hair variety, which we have chosen to breed in the Hauts de France region, in the heart of Flanders, between Lille and Dunkirk:

We have been passionate about dogs for many years, first and foremost in the voluntary sector as volunteers and host family. Guillaume decided to turn in the private security environment to be able to share his job alongside his four-legged companions. This is where we discovered the Shorthaired Dutch Shepherd (a real favorite for this breed out of the ordinary).

Falling in love with this breed both morphologically and by his abilities at work, we decided to create a small breeding passion in 2011. We both obtained the certificate of capacity for dog breeding. After having produced in parallel some litters of Belgian Shepherd Malinois and Shepherd Shetland, we chose to refocus on the Dutch Shepherd which is the only breed that we produce now.

We launched the "challenge" of the Dutch Shepherd Longhair in 2017, a variety that is even more confidential than Shorthair. We chose to get our two females at the Brindle Wolf breeding. Brindle Wolf Nat aka "New Look" started her career in canine show and Brindle Wolf Olathe aka "Odessa" will follow in her sister's footsteps.

We wish above all to have a breeding based on the selection of breeders whatever the variety. We make a point of honor to reproduce with lists having bottom and corresponding to the standard of race but use only dogs without initial title in the genealogy.
We participate in dog shows to enhance their morphology. We focus our selection of breeders on a dog "said in the standard", and can be revealed in dog sports such as: Ring, mondioring, IGP, tracking, agility, obedience, utility search, private security, administration ...

We perform various tests for specific defects of each variety such as: hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia, spondylosis, degenerative myelopathy, SDCA 1 and 2, K locus, thyroid for long hairs ... All dogs of the breeding are genetically identified. These different points are taken into account in the choice of our stallions. They must also demonstrate qualities of work and morphology. In parallel we give a great reflection on the orgines by carefully studying the pedigree of each. That's why we do not hesitate to move abroad to use males that demonstrate these qualities. We want to produce puppies that are healthy, stable, polite, fit for work and have morphological qualities that are close to the breed standard.

All our puppies leave the breeding with their registration to the LOF (Book of French origins), a veterinary certificate of good health, vaccinated + European passport, deworming protocol, identified by electronic chip, socialized with the sounds of the house, and only in varied environments. On request, DNA genetic identification can be done with kinship control, to guarantee you a quality puppy with a controlled origin. In addition, a puppy kit and a personalized folder will be given.
